℗ Pasoco Pte Ltd is the go-to-market for Paul Southern, an internet/media/telecom specialist based in Singapore. Pasoco provides management consultant for strategy, investment and delivery in solutions that enhance consumer lifestyle and bring value to operators, studios, brands and agencies. Recent clients are Singapore’s iDA, Suminet, IBM, T-Systems, ChinaCache as well as mentoring to a few startups.
Paul is now leading Southeast Asia for Radical Company which is a global group to inspire and transform the way organizations and brands engage, communicate and sell across digital platforms. Over the last year Radical has worked with clients including Barclays, Barclaycard, Early Learning Centre, Mothercare, Paco Rabanne, Sara Lee, Standard Life, Thompson Reuters, Wood Mackenzie, and Zurich.
Previously, at Microsoft, Paul was the Director Solutions for Microsoft TV with focus on Singapore, Korea and Japan and led Customer engagements across Asia for a larger portfolio of managed industry solutions. A specialty area was understanding consumption drivers across Asian ethnographies and articulating how the product-line had to evolve. Working on CETS, albeit briefly, was the highlight at Microsoft – CETS (Child Exploitation and Tracking Service) is a Bill Gates initiative to help law enforcement agencies catch bad guys. Prior to Microsoft, at Nortel, Paul held various services, sales, and business development leadership roles across Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia and the USA and Canada. Paul is a (minor) co-founder of Longscale, an innovative start up focused on helping banks, governments and telcos better serve their customers using cloud computing platforms and syndication of SaaS business applications.
Paul is an MBA grad (RMIT, first class honors) and a mentor/judge for business-plan innovation at both NUS (National University of Singapore) Startup@Singapore and RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology). Paul is a representative of a social enterprise in Pakistan, the Foundation for Human Excellence.
